Once Upon a Time in Franklin Park

Parks Events Children are invited to build houses for a new community of fairies and elves in Franklin Park. Using found materials from the woods around them, small homes will be created for a new and magical settlement in the park's historic forest. Come to the old stone ruins of Schoolmaster Hill, midway along the main park road, across from the fork leading to the back of the Zoo and a gravel parking lot. Caldwell Street Play Area Community Meeting

Parks Upcoming Meetings The Boston Parks and Recreation Department and the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services invite the public to a meeting about improvements to the passive areas of Caldwell Street Play Area at 9 Caldwell Street. We are looking for interested community members to help us in determining how Caldwell Street Play Area will function in the future. This renovation provides us with a unique opportunity to create a space for all. The Parks Department is very interested in what the community has to contribute to the design process. Following a brief presentation, community members will be able to offer input regarding the material presented and the design process. Franklin Park Bike and Kite Festival

Parks Events Bike to the park or you can get a free bike “rental” of any size to ride on paved park paths.
